This dress is Hoʻololi, the finale and culmination of this collection. When bathed in light, this dress shines like nā hōkū i ka lani pō (the stars in the night sky). Swarovski crystals were individually hand-sewn onto the bra and straps, and the lace hem was hand-sewn and manipulated to create a stunning full circle skirt hem. The bodice was also sewn together by hand with delicate lace panels and a custom lace applique with boning.
